A Few Wise Quotes from Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein is probably one of the most well know people I'll be sharing quotes from. Though many people simply know he was inspirational and considered the 20th Century's most influential physicist, few people know more than that about him. Most know he had something to do with the atom bomb. He encouraged the development of nuclear weapons, but he was a dedicated pacifist, and later became an anti-nuclear weapons spokesperson. Did you know he could play violin professionally? Or that his brain was stolen? As you learn more about him you will find he lead quite an interesting life. I derived these quotes from my Favorites list in the Albert Einstein Daily app.

Best Quote by Sylvester Stallone As Rocky Balboa

“Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!”

"If It Is To Be, It Is Up To Me"

That be 10 little words you can live your life by, argh. Success doesn't always lay in doing the right thing, but in your attitude to life in general. Here is a whole song to live our lives by.

If it is to be, then it is up to me!

When your attitude is positive, then the way in which you work changes subtly - you will be more likely to try and find a way out of your current problems, rather than blaming those problems for your inability to progress.

"In a far and distant galaxy
Inside my telescope I see
A pair of eyes peer back at me
He walks and talks and looks like me
Sits around inside his house
From room to room he moves about
Fills his life with pointless things
And wonders how it all turns out.

Do do do do do
Do do do do do
It's safe to say that

I don't think you understand!
There's nowhere left to turn
Walls keep breaking
Time is like a leaf in the wind
Either it's time well-spent
Or time I've wasted.

Don't waste it.

Afraid of what the truth might bring
He locks his doors and never leaves
Desperately searching for signs
Too terrified to find a thing
He battens all the hatches down
And wonders why he hears no sound
Frantically searching his dreams
He wonders what it's all about

Do do do do do"
 ~Telescope - Cage the Elephant

And of course you can't become if you only say what you would have done. So I missed a million miles of fun. I know it's up for me.

Do you find yourself constantly thinking about the future?

Are you always wondering what your life will be like when you get there? STOP! While I know it's very important to plan for the future, don't forget to live in the here and now and enjoy TODAY!

"Life is a succession of moments, to live each one is to succeed." ~Corita Kent

Try to wake up each day with an attitude of gratitude and be grateful for the fact that you are here, you have a roof over your head and food in your belly and realize that each day is full of fresh promise - each day you have the opportunity to do something positive for those around you.

Don't let thinking about tomorrow rob you of the time you have here today.

Each morning is full of possibility and opportunity - give each day the chance to be the best one yet and don't allow 'tomorrow' to overshadow that.

"Give every day the chance to become the most beautiful of your life." ~ Mark Twain

For sure, make plans for tomorrow, but remember that today is only here for the brief blinking of an eye in the grand scheme of things - enjoy every moment :)

When you dance, your purpose is not to get to a certain place on the floor. Its to enjoy each step along the way.
